The Center for Spiritual Understanding is an IRS-certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to provide a place where regular after-death communication occurs and people can come to alleviate grief and misunderstandings about death. Yes, Hereafter, directed by Clint Eastwood, is an accurate portrayal of the widespread ignorance about death and the afterlife today, and the fact that more and more people are gradually growing to understand it.
The subtle message is the most accurate. Those on the next plane of life are offering guidance and inspiration to bring people to each other when they most need that meeting. And they can manipulate the Earth realm at times to guide and guard us.
It is too harsh about psychomanteums, and portrays EVP in an inaccurate and unflattering light, but Damon's character is a very good portrayal of modestly good medium activity.
Damon's character should have been more knowledgeable about the afterlife. We do know for certain what happens when people cross over, and the qualified mediums know those truths.
